Rolls mania is rolls only food chain operating in several  cities in maharashtra recently started their outlet in nashik near D’souza colony,College road. The chain is caters to rolls lovers with wide variety of rolls divided into both veg and non veg categories. What hits you first at this place is hygiene, We all love rolls but  clumsily wrapped rolls serves at those grotty stalls refrain us from eating them but now we can have same rolls nicely packed in hygienic place with prices which are really steep for the service they are offering.

We tested their Paneer Masala roll and Double Egg Omelet Roll which comes quickly after we placed the order, Filling in paneer roll were perfect, Paneer was nicely chopped with few veggies, cabbage and onion dressing. Double omelet roll was packed with egg omelet and onions. There was no excess sauce or spices in both the roll, however they have options for standard dips like mayonnaise and tangy dips.

Being a rolls only place there are no other options apart from rolls, in beverages they serves regular soft drinks, Iced tea and Cold Coffee. You can add fries to make it a full meal. They also have full wheat roti option if you want ask the counter for make your roll of full wheat. Prices are between Rs. 30 to Rs. 130.

A glow sign near pizza hut “Players Sport Lounge” always catch our attention for weeks, and one fine day  we finally landed up there, First of all this is nashik’s first sport themed lounge so we were pretty much excited to have inside look. Being an avid cricket fans entry of players lounge was itself a visual treat for us, A wall full of posters of various sports champions from around the country were nicely put on with cricket world cup trophy.

As we enter in main dining area passing a live bar counter, first look of the whole seating arrangement was impressive. Nicely made lounger sections are really comfortable for big groups. There are couple of screens placed on multiple corners so you won’t even miss a single shot during matches. Another interesting thing was arm wrestling table.

Now about food, The menu is actually packed with  literally hundreds of dishes.Chinese, Mexican, Continental and Indian. We stick to standard non veg platter and few starters. Food was okay and service was really good, servant were fully aware and attentive. There menu is more inclined towards fusion cuisines. They have almost all standard mock-tails  in their menu too.

Sulafest is signature festival of Sula Vineyards, Sulafest  2014 was the 7 th Edition of this gourmet music festival. This festival is arranged  during grape harvesting season to celebrate the beginning of harvest of the grape season in India’s Grapes & Wine Capital nashik.

Malvani cuisine is the standard cuisine of the Konkan region of Maharashtra and Goa, and some northern parts of West Karnataka. Although Malvani cuisine is predominantly non-vegetarian, there are many vegetarian delicacies. Although it is an independent cuisine, it overlaps Maharashtrian cuisine and Goan cuisine. Malvan is a town in the Sindhudurg district on the west coast of Maharashtra.The cuisine of this region is popularly known as Malvani cuisine. Coconut, Rice and fish assume prime significance in the Malvani cuisine.Malvan being a coastal area in Konkan, it has its own distinct way of cooking food. Malvani cuisine uses coconut liberally in various forms such as grated, dry grated, fried, coconut paste and coconut milk.

Many spices have dried red chilies and other spices like coriander seeds, peppercorns, cumin, cardamom, ginger, garlic, etc. Some dishes also use kokum, dried kokam (amsul), tamarind, and raw mango (kairi). However not all of the cuisine is hot and spicy. The ‘Konkanastha Brahmin‘ style of food is quite bland yet very tasty and vegetarian too.Fish dishes dominate the Malvani cuisine. The fiery seafood curries may be a bit too spicy for some people, but are quite tasty. The Malvani cuisine is very similar to Goan or coastal South Indian cuisine.

Starting with their menu what we first encounter with is their special ‘Fish Thali’ a bunch of Malvani delicacies ‘Pomfret curry’ ,’Surmai Fry’ and ‘Bombil’ (Malawani Fish Names) along with a special Malavani ‘Sol kadhi’ ,Sol Kadhi is a pink colored appetizer drink made from the kokam fruit and Coconut Milk, often drunk after particularly hot and spicy Konkani / Malvani meal as it is very soothing. ‘Kombadi Wada’ is another famous dish from Malvan and its worth of tasting.Along with these two famous dishes they also have all ‘Chicken’ and ‘Mutton Thali’ .All their preparations are cooked in authentic malavani spices and all the spices comes right from malvan.In this regular menu you will find something unusual a dish called ‘Chicken Kokani’ and ‘Mutton Kokani’ well both the dishes are their invention and you must try it during your first visit.

Snaky Tangadi ,Minty Tangadi ,Crispy Tangadi was our first try outs. all of them were well marinated ,Succulents and soft. However base of all three preparations were almost identical.We specially love the minty tangadi for light pudina flavor.Due to take away joint we couldn’t have their curry and other full meal dishes so we checked their Chicken Fingers and Chicken pop corns.Chicken Pop Corn was small little chunks of boneless chicken marinated and deep fired in oil.If you’re looking for meal chicken Maratha rice is nice alternative ,rice made with just chicken pieces and green chilly chutney gives rural maharastrian flavor.We are really looking forward to taste their curry dishes in our next visit.
